The number one overall prospect in the nation Jadeveon Clowney has finally cut his offer list in half. The 6’6 247 pound 5 star defensive end from South Pointe, South Carolina has narrowed his choices down to South Carolina, Florida State, Alabama, Miami and LSU, with Auburn still in the mix. Clowney didn’t hold back on his thoughts on Alabama saying “That’s the best program going. They are in the SEC and they don’t mess around there. Coach Saban is always intense and their strength and conditioning coach gets after it. That’s my team to beat. Everyone’s really even now, but Alabama and I would say South Carolina are recruiting me the hardest. They are the teams that stay in touch with my coaches the most” Clowney is not expected to make a decision until February on National Signing Day. This would be a huge pick up for an already loaded Crimson Tide recruiting class which is expected to, yet again, be one of the top 3 in the nation.
